My memories of Ad Astra are almost gone! (considering I'm writing this a year after the convention O_o.) My sister brought her Amelia costume, which she overhauled, to AA and I dragged along Nhan to keep be company because my sister was going to enter the masquerade, and I wasn't. I didn't have any super fabulous costume to wear unless I wore KOS-MOS, again. We got there pretty late and good thing too. I'm not the type of person to check out panels and stuff, so we ended up standing around and wandering the hotel. I brought some porings I made to give to Nhan and another pair to give to Lainey and Young Jae. Sis started chatting with Cin and Jordan and I wandered around. We hung out a bit in the con suite and I was amazed at all the stuff that was in there. I think what amused me most were the tapes of the masquerades from all the years at Ad Astra.
I started to take pictures of my sister in her costume, the hotel didn't have the best places to take pictures, so I did the best that I could, and I got some neat shots. We had take-out Swiss Chalet for dinner and we sat out in the courtyard to eat. The only problem was that where we were sitting, it was covered in bird poop. I ended up taking my jacket off and putting it on top of the poop (>o<) so my sister could sit down and eat.
I had a poopie jacket. So gross.
After we finished eating, everyone disappeared to go to the masquerade. For once, I was going to watch and not be in it. They started off with the lightning round and Nhan and I had these weird looks on our faces. We didn't understand what was going on LOL.

Nhan and my reactions: WTF is that?!?! LOL Later, we found out, it was Young Jae. He got trapped into being part of the lightning round. Ouch. After the masquerade, we hung around to see who would win awards and stuff. My sister got a presentation award for full frontal. What a funny award. All she did was walk on and off. And she got a well deserved workmanship award for Beading. Then, we left LOL. Oh this is a stupid con report. I don't remember much from this convention >o<.
