On occasion we do take a few commission orders for accessories and plushies. We do not accept costume commissions.

These are our commission rules. Please read them before you contact us regarding a commission.

First things's first....

• We reserve the right to refuse any plushie request.
• We will not accept fabric provided by buyer(s).
• Excessively detailed plushies and/or accessories are subject to additional charges (see below).
• Once a commission has been placed, no changes can be made without our approval.
• After an order has been placed you cannot change characters.
• Right now we do not make animal plushies. Any person, character or humanoid is ok.
• We require a MINIMUM of 2 months notice to create a plushie. NO RUSH ORDERS!

Our promises to you....

• Commission orders usually take 4-6 weeks. Sometimes your plushies may be completed sooner but allow this time in case of unpredictable events.
• Each plushie is lovingly hand-made and almost always hand-sewn.
• These plushies are meant for DISPLAY only. They contain small parts and may be dangerous for small children.
• The cost of each plushie varies depending on the complexity of the design.
• Machiko will create an individual concept sketch and costume design pattern for each plushie. However, these are our intellectual property and will not be given to you. No exceptions. By asking us to take up a commission you are saying that you trust our artistic abilities.

• AT LEAST the following images: 1. full body picture (head to toe), 2. back view, 3. close up of face
• Images must be clear and easy to see.
• If we have to search for images and additional fee will be charged. (We have a good collection of artbooks and manga, but to be certain of what you want, it's best if you supply the reference images.)
• We reserve the right to cancel an order if:
  ~ Buyer floods our inbox with emails
  ~ Buyer consistently requests updates on their plushie.
  ~ Any behaviour deemed rude or inconsiderate by the Artists.
• There are absolutely NO REFUNDS for cancelled orders, regardless of who cancelled (Buyer or Artist).

• There is a base fee of $40 (US) which covers:
  • original design of plushie
  • basic time and labour (hand sewing)
  • basic materials (body, stuffing, felt, paints, Fimo, matching thread, etc).
• Materials cost and additional labour:
  • Variable fee in addition to base fee.
  • Depends on the intricacy of the design and fabrics we use.
  • Jewellery, beading, etc. and funky hairstyles are included in these fee section.
• Props & Accessories fee:
  • We don't include weapons unless you ask for them.
  • Some accessories are integral to a character (ex. Lulu's hairsticks) and will not be charged as a prop, but rather included in the materials cost.
  • Swords, staffs, large guns, etc. are considered props.
  • Please email us with any questions.
• Shipping charges are extra. Average shipping costs are $15 for Canada/U.S. (unless you want overnight purolator, hehe ^^). A detailed chart of shipping prices will be uploaded soon.

Payment....

• A deposit of at least 60% is required to secure a place on our schedule.
• Deposit payment must be made using PAYPAL within 1 (one) week of acceptance, or order will be cancelled.
• Repeat buyers may pay using Money Orders.
• You will be sent images of our prototype, at which time you must send the remaining fees before we make your plushie.

To put things in perspective, something simple like Selphie (FF8) would be roughly $55 (not including shipping). Something like Sesshoumaru (Inuyasha) would run upwards of $100.

~NOTE:~

We keep all original plushies and prototypes, which means that we actually made 2 copies of whatever you request. We keep the original (*cough* "trial and error" version) and make you a second one. This ensures that your plushie is perfect ^^ You don't pay for any of the labour/ materials for the prototype plushie. That being said, all the photos on our website are original prototypes - and as far as we're concerned there's nothing wrong with them ^^
